Welcome to The Miss Siggy Scholarship in memory of Donna Garvett Signorelli.

The Miss Siggy Scholarship Fund began in 2016 to honor Donna Garvett Signorelli who dedicated 19 years of her life working with children in the Nutley School District, and as a way to carry on her spirit of GIVING. Miss Siggy was personally dedicated and invested in the lives of the students she served. This Scholarship provides a way to continue investing in the children of Nutley by offering financial assistance for qualified applicants pursuing post-secondary education and planning to work with children.

The Miss Siggy Scholarship is endowed through fund-raising efforts hosted by its Fund-raising Committee, and through generous donations from Donna's family and friends. Through annual fund-raising events and ongoing financial contributions, the Miss Siggy Scholarship works unceasingly toward the goal of MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE.

The scholarship recipients are selected based on criteria established by the Miss Siggy Scholarship Committee, which include identifying characteristics in applicants that truly embody Donna's ability to GIVE unconditionally to others.
